thursday : amaths - coordinate geog test
friday : chem test - speed of reaction & chem cal.

as you can see, i will have NO time for blogging or msning next week.
and i am seriously starting to detest SEQs. so annoying.
but im scared! source-based qns are so scary. its so easy to fail.

on the plus side, at least my saturdays wont be burnt anymore! finished 7 hours of cip :D

oh man. i think i screwed up BIG TIME.
311 had math warrior in the morning, so me and geyi and weijian went for promo test at arnd eleven.
it rained, so they were doing woc in the sky garden. so we ran up 5 floors to look for them. then sir and maam told us we had to go take our baton and our rifle. but the np room was locked. so we had to go look for another sir and get the np room keys.
so we ran down five floors. and ran all over the first floor because we couldnt find them. in the end, we ran all the way up to sky garden again to ask sir and maam where they were. then they called. they were at the 3rd floor doing moi.
so we ran down to first floor and ran up again.
its like, mini- pt session during promo test. LOL

uniform check : I BLOODY FORGOT TO SALUTE D: it was in rifle, and i was in turun. so when sir came, i just sedia-ed myself. and i was thinking " cannot salute with left hand right, better not do anything." later i saw geyi in rusok position and i remembered the memberis hormat saluting thing -.-

moi : i chose the same drill as TYT ( rusok to turun ) because i thought it was pretty easy. but i taught the wrong timing. i told them it was "one-check-one" then later i asked kelvin to be timer and he said "one-check-one-check-one" then i was like. "sorry, clarify abit. the timing is one-check-one-check-one. not one-check-one. " the funny thing is, later kelvin teo made the same mistake as me but the other way round :X he taught baring, then he said the timing was "one-check-one-check-one" then he also said " er. sorry. the timing is one-check-one not one-check-one-check-one"

woc : i said thank you maam before taking one step back and saluting. D:
but anyway, by the time it was my turn, i was so frustrated with my earlier mistakes that i practically screamed the commands. then i gave angkat while everyone was in senang-diri. and i made a few blunders during the marching too.

basically i feel very disappointed in myself. not only as a person, but also as a squad ic.
its like. how can i try and make people perform well during their promotest when i myself screwed up so badly.
i think junwee did quite well though.

we were laughing all the way from the start to the end.
then later i asked lynette if she knew yanting. since they're both from rulang. and it turns out, they used to be classmates! HAHAH ALL THE LAME PEOPLE COME FROM THE SAME ORIGINS. INCLUDING YOU DAMIEN LIM :DDD

listening compre was pretty okay. except for the 2nd passage! i had to think super long for the answer. in the end, i was like "aiya heck. just shade first"
but ohwell, i got the same answers as alot of people. so yeah :D

90th anniversary dinner! :D

at first it was kind of weird. me and my mom were just randomly standing around, and kind of not knowing what to do. then later, the 309 people came! ahahah. mingled around for a bit, then settled down to dinner. i would have had a lot more photos. BUT. i brought a camera without bringing the batteries -.- the batteries were still in the charger.
there were 2 tables of 311. one was brenda and her family. and the other was me, bunman, clive, madeline , xinyi, rachel, dekguan and his parents. madeline was funny. she was like taking photos with everyone who walked past our table. :D
so fun anyways. me and clive went around to the CI's table and the senior NCOs table.
and took picture with 209'06! :D much l0ve.

aww man! i miss summer camp :/ i miss the mass hugging D:
looking at all the pretty photos, makes me miss them even more.
you know, at first, i was kind of dreading it. because i was worried that i wouldnt be able to catch up on my schoolwork and stuff. but it really is an experience of a lifetime. i dont think would never ever forgot those memories.
there are loads more photos out there, i will find them and when i do, i'll post them here not to worry :D

i think its because i didnt go and re-read the book before i watched the movie. i read on someone's blog before not to read the book just before the movie comes out so that you wouldnt start "noticing things" and stuff. i thought the sirius black part could have been more touching though.
i didnt even tear.

i thought everything was okay. cos (FORONCE) the readings i got were coherent and the differences between the readings were logical. and i finished really early. i had like 40 minutes left?
until i got a really weirdo value for gravity. then after that after comparing results with madeline and jocelyn, i realised i did my calculations in cm! D: stupidddd.

and im having a hard time catching up with homework.
i dont know. at the start of the year, i felt this urge to HAVE to finish all my homework. and now, maybe im too relaxed or something i dont really feel this sense of URGENCY to finish my homework. im just like. yeah, whatever. i'll finish it tomorrow.

my grades are going to divebomb this term!
my CA2 ALWAYS dies a very horrible death though. HAHA.

funny. i was drinking a packet of greentea and i realised i could type pretty quickly (by my standards) with one hand.
which led me to realise how much of my life has been taken over by computers. i dont know. its kind of scary. deep down inside me, i was always afraid that the world would get taken over by robots because humans were too dependent on technology.
and besides, i am a greenie at heart. im all for SAVETHEWORLD! , STOPGLOBALWARMING! , REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE! and other crap like that. i would probably participate in a anti-fur protest if it weren't for the fact that protesting is illegal in singapore. i probably wouldnt mind if the world was ruled by environmental activists and everyone had to recycle their trash and use solar power and volunteer our services at the local animal shelter once a week and be a vegetarian. sounds like a nice world to me. (:
because i sure as hell do not like the alternative world that we seem to be headed towards. which is basically extinction of humankind through all sorts of natural disasters that are the result of climate change. in other words, DOOM.

but who am i to do anything. i am but a seemingly insane 15-year old girl publishing her psychobabble online. HA oh well.

i think i screwed it up D: my answer for the conversation was too short! i was so unnerved by how friendly they were, the whole way to the examination hall i was psycho-ing myself, telling myself "okay, its okay if they're strict and look fierce, just keep talking.."
then suddenly i go in, and its two really friendly looking people smiling at me.
oh yeah then there was this word : 霍
ITS HUO YUAN JIA THAT HUO. i KNEW i saw that word from a jay chou song before! BUT I COULDNT REMEMBER WHICH ONE. so in the end i read it as wu4.
oh yeah so in the end for the conversation i only answered like. two sentences per question that they asked me. so in total its like 6-8 sentences. the whole oral exam process seemed to be very fast to me?

oh well. shall hope that my listening compre can pull up my grades!

and im so not in the mood to be doing homework! although i have TONNES of homework to catch up on.
aim for tonight : FINISH BIO SCRAPBOOK.

it was a 7-day camp so i shall not bother you with the day-by-day activities. shall just roughly write how i feel about it.

me, craigven, yunian, estella, shao an, yuanyuan, ashleigh, yuhao and a whole bunch of other ppl met up at clementi macs at around 11. there was this weird girl dressed up in a qipao and tied her hair in two buns like chun-li. she was talking to this older, middle-aged guy who looked like he BU4 HUAI3 HAO3 YI4 we all thought she was getting conned or something. YUNIAN THE FUNNY TOOT, went outside and kept walking past the table where they were talking cos he kept trying to eavesdrop on their conversation.then later there was this other lady who came along so we suspected she was the matchmaker or something and the other girl was supposed to marry the weird old guy.

then later we went to NUS and i realised sheares hall was not in NUSHIGH it was at the university. and we all got lost. so we were like 40 minutes late. :X

it wasnt the first official day of the camp so we were allowed to have free time before we had to report at 6pm for dinner. so all the twoniners (plus zhanmao and some other guy) went to vivo to buy groceries. we ate macs and i ate the marshmallow-dip-inside-the-chocolate-fondue thing!

then we reported for dinner. thats when we all got intro-ed to each other. but everything was still very awkward..? like everyone didnt really talk and stuff. i was zi-highing and dancing to the music. :D later we played some ice-breaker games, murderer and the like. so after that, we all started to get to know each other and stuff. for the first 2 days, no one really talked alot and everything. the nh-rians were mostly trying to start conversations with the international students but it was more of like. ask one question, then they reply. unless you keep asking them about their life, it was kind of hard to have a good conversation.
then i got introduced to TRACY LAU KAPO!
SHE'S THE BEST LA! I LOVE HER SO MUCH ♥. we have alot in common! she LOVES ORANGE, JUST LIKE ME. and we always think the same way. (:
SHE CALLED ME JUST NOW, ALL THE WAY FROM HONGKONG. IT DOESNT GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT.
DRAGONBOATING! one of the highlights of the camp! there werent enough big boats so two of the groups had to split up between two small boats. they had a lucky draw. and group 2 and group 7 had to spilt up ): but it was okay. coach terrence came with us. me, kapo, liyan, wangge, yikai,cherngyew, bill and jonathan were GROUPTWO BOAT ONE. it was so fun! the whole time we were rowing to next to other boats and splashing water at them. during the mini-race, we came in FOURTH! but we were the fastest small boat :D and we beat other big boats too. therefore, i conclude that we TOTALLY ROCK.
BARBEQUE! so fun! they set up like barbeque pits. and traditional games for us to play. me KAPO and this ultra cute japanese girl called MIZUKI went around playing the games and stuff. everyone else was running around putting charcoal on other people's faces. HWELENG SNEAKILY ATTACKED ME WITH CHARCOAL and i had two black stripes on my face for the rest of the night.
CAMPFIRE + CLUBSYNERGY! I LOVE CAMPFIRES! THE BEST TIME TO BE HIGH AND EVERYTHING. there was one part, the hongkong people went to perform. and they sang PENG YOU. IT WAS SO SAD! then the girls in the front row all started crying. crying is INFECTIOUS! i was also sitting in the first row. the people sitting next to me were all crying in the end, i also cried. then later, there was MASSDANCE! and CHICKEN DANCE! and CLUB SYNERGY! it was so high! they blasted music and we all were dancing and cam-whoring! even the other nh-rians who went to help out were enthu-ed :D craigven was scared of being sweaty, so we all gave him A BIG SWEATY HUG :P
then later, coach jay announced that the yan chai school people had to leave early the next day. so we all stood in a circle and shook hands with them. then they played sad, sad music. like home by michael buble. halfway through the circle, all the yanchai girls were too sad. they all started cry and everyone went to hug them. and everyone started hugging each other too.
CLOSING CEREMONY! we only had 10 minutes to prepare our performance before the rehearsal. but in the end, on the actual performance, we did quite well :D everyone cried buckets and buckets.
its so cool la. like, we were all strangers who didnt know each other, who didnt know what to say to each other and stuff. but at the end of the camp, we all became like the best of friends. you could seriously tell on the first day, it was so quiet. but on the last, it was so full of noise and life and laughter.the reason why we all cried so much was because of all the happy times we had together and we did not want to leave each other so quickly! even junneng cried! ian choi was super garang, throughout the whole closing ceremony he didnt cry but at the last part he totally broke down and wailed.
